Robbie Farwell from Twynham School, Christchurch, has won an online logo competition which was run by a Christchurch car dealership.
The winning logo will now be used on all its promotional material and invoices as part of the company’s 60th anniversary celebrations.
The dealership teamed up with the Sopers Lane academy for the competition, and more than 50 art students across three year groups submitted entries.
These logos were whittled down to 20 finalists and posted on the company’s Facebook page for the public to vote during the summer.
Robbie, 12 said, “It’s amazing to win. This was actually my second design. My first one I binned at the end of the lesson because I didn’t like it and I started again.”
Art teacher Lola Hurst-Levy says taking part in the competition taught all the students valuable skills in artistry, time management and working with professional computer software.
Robbie, who says he’d like to become a graphic designer, won a Panasonic camera and starter kit which were presented to him in class.
