Bless me! Feet bared and bathed by Bishop

Over 300 people from across Dorset and beyond attended Wimborne Minster on Sunday afternoon to welcome to the new Bishop of Sherborne, Reverend Dr Graham Kings.

The inauguration service commenced with the new bishop being led to the High Altar by the Rev’d Canon John Holbrook, Rector of Wimborne Minster.

Bishop Graham washed the feet of three people who represent the church before a community following afterwards. A pupil led prayers from Queen Elizabeth’s School.

Civic guests included Lord Lieutenant, High Sheriff of Dorset, the Chairman of the East Dorset District Council and the Town Mayor of Wimborne.
