Get your blooming entries in!

Keen Christchurch gardeners and allotment holders are being invited to enter this year’s Christchurch in Bloom competition.

There are five categories:

• Best front garden basket or container

• Best front garden – overall impression

• Best allotment

• Best holiday park

• Best commercial/community frontage

Plus, there is also a judges’ special award for community involvement.

Judging takes place in late July and awards will be presented at a special presentation buffet at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel in September. Prizes include lunches at the Lord Bute and garden vouchers.

The first 50 people to send in their entry forms will receive Eco Compost vouchers.

Entry forms are available from Christchurch Information Centre and the Civic Offices or by calling Sharon Riley at Christchurch Council on 01202 495128. The closing date for entries is 18 June.
