Bowlathon strikes up plenty of donations
The Branksome Bowling Club hosted a twelve hour bowling marathon recently to raise funds for the club’s chosen charity, The Wessex Autistic Society.
The event saw all 96 members bowl throughout the day from 9am until 9pm, raising a massive £2,870 for the society.
Lynn Jenkins, President of Branksome Park Bowling Club comments, “We had a really wonderful day with everyone from the club getting involved. Local businesses were very supportive and our members and their families made sure the bowlathon was a huge success by getting involved in many different ways.”
