Brass Blowathon!
Verwood Concert Brass is holding a musical Blowathon on Saturday, 25 September in Verwood Memorial Hall from 10am-5pm. There will be non-stop music from Verwood's three brass bands plus refreshments, raffle, tombola and stalls. Visitors can even have a go at conducting the band (for a small fee) or, if you are a brass player, bring your instrument and join in. All proceeds will go towards the work of the band in providing community music. Entry is free. All welcome.
The band's autumn concert is at the Verwood Hub on Sunday, 10 October at 7.30pm. Tickets £8 or £6 with U12s half price. Call the Hub box office on 01202 828740.
