Britain’s Got Talent act to perform in front of Dorset queen!

Stavros Flatley from last year’s Britain’s Got Talent is the main attraction at Ferndown Carnival.

The father and son act, who were a stone’s throw away from performing in front of Her Majesty the Queen, will now be able to entertain ‘royalty’ with their hilarious dance routine.

As well as crowds from the town, the Ferndown carnival queen will be in the audience.

First though, Ferndown must find its queen.

The hunt is on for a Miss Ferndown and a Junior Miss Ferndown to head the procession on Saturday 10 July.

Any young females in Ferndown who are interested in entering, all you have to do is send a recent photograph and a short write up about yourself to: Jane Harding, 86 Medway Road, Ferndown, Dorset, BH22 8US. Or you can e-mail your details to ferndowncarnival@yahoo.co.uk Closing date for entries will by 30th May 2010.

On 1 June, a panel of independent judges will meet to go through the entries and the two winners will be announced.
