Calling All Carers

To mark Carers Week 2009 Dorset County Council will be holding an event at the Barrington Theatre Ferndown.

The event is aimed at carers (unpaid) who live in the East Dorset area.

It is believed that around 40,000 carers live across Dorset and their role is often a hard and relentless task, many receive support but a great many carers go unnoticed missing out on the services and support which they are entitled to.

To celebrate the incredible contribution made by carers, this event aims to provide information and advice, whilst allowing carers to come together and share their experiences.

There will be entertainment, free pampering sessions, a free raffle and refreshments.
