A generous donation was received by the Autistic Spectrum Disorders Group, run by Community First New Forest, from local organisation TEDS.
TEDS (Toys Exchange and Donate Scheme) was set up by two local mums, Dana Elsworth and Liz Wells, who run the charity to benefit local charitable causes. The scheme provides an innovative way of recycling and reusing children and baby toys, equipment and clothes, and regularly holds sales throughout Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire to raise funds.
The Autistic Spectrum Disorders Group was set up to give support to parents of children diagnosed with ASD, and when TEDS heard about the group, they were keen to offer their support. The money was greatly received, and will be used towards running costs of the group.
