Chamber pot helps Scouts

Verwood and District Chamber of Trade (VADCOT) joined with Verwood Ararat Scout Troop to hold a summer barbecue.  A jazz band and rifle range provided entertainment and money raised on the night was donated to the Scout group, which is raising money to send three of its members to the 22nd World Scout Jamboree in Sweden in 2011.

Luke and Will Maw and Frankie Clarke will be representing Verwood Ararat Scouts and each one has to raise £1800 to pay for the trip. 
The proceeds from the barbecue, raffle and a donation from VADCOT's chamber pot came to over £400 and this was presented to the Scouts to help them on their way.
