Charlie Boorman meets PC Lisk

PC Danny Lisk of the Townsend Safer Neighbourhood team had the opportunity to meet modern day adventurer and broadcaster Charlie Boorman. Charlie was promoting his latest book based on the Channel Five series Extreme Frontiers at Castlepoint Shopping Park’s Waterstones.

The series featured Charlie’s motorcycle tour of Canada, one of the few major countries that Danny and his motorcycling wife Adriana have not yet had the opportunity to explore.

“It was great to meet Charlie.  I’m sure that his televised travels have been an inspiration to many people like us who are always looking for interesting destinations to visit each year,” said Danny.
