Chick surprise!
When Orchard Day Nursery took delivery of a baker’s dozen of eggs one Monday, little did they think that by Friday (26 February), they would have twelve healthy chicks in their midst.
To the delight of the children, all but one of their incubated eggs hatched. “It has been a real success,” said Debbie Appleby, the pre-school owner.
