Club Celebrates 21st Birthday

Bournemouth Scrabble Club has just celebrated 21 years with a one-day Scrabble Tournament and a special Scrabble Birthday Cake.

At the same time the club was presented with a Challenge Shield in memory of Margaret Bright, who was Chairman until she passed away last year and who was also one of the founder members.  Elisabeth Jardine started the Club in 1988 with just four members.
 
At one point the club reached nearly 40 members, but has now settled with  around 20 players.
