Concern grows for missing Wimborne girl

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for a 14-year-old girl who has been missing from her home in Wimborne since Saturday, 7 November 2009.

Elizabeth Perrins has been missing since approximately 9pm on Saturday, 7 November 2009 after she was dropped off in Branksome, where she was planning on visiting a friend.

Police Sergeant Andy Cutler, of Bournemouth and Poole police, said: “There have been several sightings of Elizabeth since she went missing on Saturday but as time goes on we are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety.

“She was last seen on Wednesday, 11 November in the Canford Heath Area of Poole but I’m keeping an open mind as to where she may be.

“I’d urge anyone who may have seen Elizabeth to contact me as soon as possible.

“Elizabeth is not in any trouble, but because of her age and the fact she left home with little money we are concerned for her welfare and it is essential that we speak with her and check that she is safe and well.”

Elizabeth is white, around five feet four inches tall, of slim build with long brown hair and green eyes.

When she was last seen, Elizabeth was wearing black jean-type leggings, a light coloured jumper and suede boots with fur around the top.

She also had a ‘Big Blag Handbag’ with her.

Anyone with any information or knowledge as to Elizabeth’s whereabouts should call Dorset Police on 01202 222 222.
