Police in Weymouth are appealing for public help in identifying property seized by officers at a house in the town.

Detectives are trying to establish whether or not the seven items were stolen.

A 29-year-old man from Kent has been arrested and released on police bail while officers continue their enquiries.

The items are two British commemorative coins; an I-POD and I-POD docking station; a case of music CDs, a ball bearing gun and a watch.

Anyone with information about the property should call Dorset Police in confidence on 01305 222 222 or the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
