DOGS need homes - fundraising continues

Waggy Tails Rescue, the local animal charity that finds homes for abandoned dogs, lost its Ferndown clinic last October.  Ironically, this means it has nowhere to temporarily house the dogs, except in a few foster homes.

The charity is ferociously fundraising to find enough money to buy its own sanctuary. Recent events include Sally Troth’s ‘bag-packing,’ which raised £400 in just six hours and the Waggy Tails’ Easter Fair with stalls and competitions that  brought in £1000.

More assistance is needed.  If you, your family or office would like to help with their fundraising, check out the website www.waggytails.org.uk where there are ideas for everyone. Or phone 01202 875000 and talk to Cindy.

Also, more foster homes are needed desperately.  Ring Cindy if you  think you can help give a needy dog a home.
