Dorset School Remembers World War II
Children from Ash Base at Verwood CE First School recently took part in a World War II day.
They dressed as evacuees and completed an exciting circuit of activities including making WW2 recipes of jam buns, oat cakes and a very interesting recipe for Orange Whip which looked rather like orange curd. Propaganda style posters, gas masks and boxes to put them in were also designed and made.
