A total of three people have been arrested after officers in Shaftesbury carried out two Misuse of Drugs Act warrants in the town.
Response officers and officers from the Shaftesbury Town Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out a warrant at an address in Bimport on Tuesday, 22 September 2009.
During the search, a number of cannabis plants were seized and a 32-year-old man was arrested.
On Friday 25 September 2009, officers from Shaftesbury Town Safer Neighbourhood Team and response officers executed another warrant at an address in Sweetmans Road, Shaftesbury.
As a result of this warrant, a quantity of white powder was seized. The unidentified substance has been sent for examination.
Two men, aged 46 and 45 were also arrested at the scene.
All three men, who were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply, have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
