East Dorset District Council has announced an increase in its share of the council tax for 2010/11 that equates to just nine pence a week for the average household.
A meeting of the full council voted in favour of the council's lowest rise in a decade. Percentage wise, the increase is 2.5%, which equates to a Band D household paying just £190.93 a year (£3.67 per week) for all of East Dorset District Council's services.
