European grasstrack sidecar final this weekend

Wimborne Motor Cycle Club is hosting the 2009 European 500cc Grasstrack Sidecar final at Pilford Farm circuit at Uddens, Nr Wimborne on Sunday 13 September.

The event will see English crews (including local pair Mike Read & Mark Thorpe) go head to head with Europe’s best is the highlight of a weekend of racing that will also feature top UK 1000cc sidecar teams and 500cc solos battling it out for the prestigious Wimborne Whoppa titles.

In addition there will be European practice and a full programme of youth racing on Saturday afternoon followed by entertainment in the Beer Tent.
