Ferndown just got brighter!
Jane Harding, Ferndown Carnival committee chairman, noticed that the flower containers at Ferndown Fire station had not been planted this year as usual.
Wanting to brighten the road up for when the carnival procession comes through this Saturday, she approached Plowmans Garden Centre and asked if they could help.
Vic Plowman didn't hesitate to offer his services and promptly organised a team of staff to get planting.
He even took time out himself to help fill the containers. Vic said, "The firemen do a tremendous job and we are always more than happy to help them.”
