Follow the action on Brownsea Island

Nature lovers are now able to follow all the spring action on Brownsea Island’s nature reserve without even leaving home. This is thanks to a new sightings service provided by Dorset Wildlife Trust. Brownsea Island is the first of Dorset Wildlife Trust’s nature reserves to provide latest sightings online, with daily postings using twitter.

Nicky Hoar, Communications Officer at Dorset Wildlife Trust, said, “Thanks to our brilliant band of volunteers in the reserve, all the latest news is being posted every day, whether it’s nesting birds, what the squirrels have been up to or news of emerging insects and reptiles.”
