How brave are you?
Dorset Wildlife Trust is giving people the chance to undertake a challenge of a lifetime, whilst raising money to help protect Dorset’s wild places for generations to come.
Kizzy Brown, Fundraising and Marketing Manager at Dorset Wildlife Trust, said: “It’s scary, exhilarating and breathtaking – and believe it or not, great fun. This is an opportunity to really succumb to the elements and allow yourself to experience what it is like to fly.”
No previous experience is necessary to participate in a skydive, but a thirty-minute training session with professional instructors is compulsory. At a height of 15,000ft the door will open and you will begin the descent.
You can take up the Sky Dive challenge throughout 2009. It costs £230 to take part and DWT asks that you also raise a minimum of £220, which will go directly to conservation work in Dorset. They will provide an event pack and help with fundraising. Dates for the jumps will be arranged on registration.
