Gold Rush for Ferndown Jitsu

Ferndown Jitsu Club has just returned from the National Sports Centre, Walsall, Birmingham with Three National Atemi Titles.

There were around sixteen clubs, from all over the UK with several hundred children and young people taking part.
 
Ferndown Won 3 Gold, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze, 4 Special Awards and 10 Medals At the Junior Ju-Jitsu National Competition
 
Liam Read (12) won Gold in Junior Brown Belt Open (Light Weight) Competition and Sliver in the Atemi Competition
 
Connor Riley (11) won Gold in Junior Orange +  Open Middle Weight) Competition and Gold in the Atemi Competition
 
Oliver Preston (13) won Silver in Junior Brown Belt Open (Heavy Weight) Competition
 
Shannah Grimshaw won Bronze in (Light Weight) Atemi Competition
 
Scott Bishop, Matt Trussell, Alex Liversidge, Imogen Turner each won Special Awards
 
John Hanrahan manager said "This is a great result for these youngsters from Ferndown they all have worked very hard to achieve their awards."
