Gramophones for sale

A lovely collection of antique Gramophones are to be sold by Lawrences of Crewkerne.

Entered by a local client, they were collected by his father in the second half of the 20th century.
 
The collection includes some larger examples, made by firms like HMV, Decca, and Primaphone. There are also some small travelling gramophones, which were easy to transport and could be assembled at the location.
 
Lawrences Auctioneer Simon Jones said, "There are a large number of Gramophone collectors, both in the UK and beyond. They look particularly for unusual examples, and we have some very unusual models in this collection."
