Happy retirement Mrs King
Mrs Janet King, a senior teaching assistant, retired from Hillside Community First School in Verwood today after 18 years of dedicated service. She spent many years prior to that as a “mum helper”. The school held an assembly for her, where she was presented with gifts and cards from the staff and pupils to show her their appreciation. Mrs King now plans to take up water colour painting during her retirement, a skill which she has been hoping to pursue for some time.
Mr Roger Withey, Headteacher, said “Mrs King has been the most reliable and respected member of staff, who has worked hard for the children at the school. She will be missed by everyone at Hillside.”
