Hurray! Wimborne letter box is back

After much pressure by Wimborne Minster Town Council, East Dorset District Council, North Dorset MP Bob Walter and County Councillor Robin Cook, Wimborne's High Street replacement post box was put into position outside Scrivens yesterday.

"It is great news", said Town Councillor Anthony Oliver, one of the prime movers to get a box back into the town centre after the disastrous fire which took place nine weeks ago.

“We are still campaigning hard to get a temporary post office back in the town and hope for more news next week,” he added.
