As a long time supporter of Marie Curie Cancer Care and a passionate cake baker, may I ask your readers in Dorset to join the charity’s Blooming Great Tea Party celebrations this summer?

We’re inviting people to hold their own tea parties any time between 12 June and 12 July to help raise money for the charity. Whether it’s a garden party, afternoon tea or a simple gathering of friends for a cuppa, holding a Blooming Great Tea Party couldn’t be simpler. Every tea party, however big or small will help more Marie Curie Nurses to provide free care for terminally ill people in their own homes or at one of the charity’s hospices.
