Detectives in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a woman was put into the back of a van without her consent.

After receiving a report at about 1.30am on Tuesday 29 July, of an 18-year old Bournemouth woman being put into the back of a white Peugeot van in the West Howe area of Bournemouth, before being driven off. Officers quickly found the car in the area and located an uninjured woman and two men, who are believed to know each other.

A 21-year old Poole man and a 21 year old Bournemouth man have been charged with kidnap and they are due to appear before Bournemouth Crown Court on 6 August 2008.
