Lights Up In Verwood

On a wet and windy Advent Sunday, the regular band of Verwood volunteers put up the Christmas lights on Ferrett Green.

Mayor Cllr Michael Dolan is pictured with Adrian Read and others with a merry Christmas message.

The Verwood Christmas Extravaganza, which includes the official ‘switch on’, takes place on Saturday 12 December at Ferrett Green between 5pm and 8pm. There will be rides on a roundabout, a steam engine, carol singing and band music. Food and drink will be on sale.
