Local indie band, Looking Through Glass, are the winners of Forest FM’s Breakthrough award for September.
The top class Bournemouth band have been recognised for their high quality sound and for their uniqueness, which is enhanced by the stylish addition of Kellee on the trumpet. Their latest EP, The Cycle Never Ends, has had a great reception, and features top-drawer songs and shows off the band’s accomplished musicianship.
Throughout the month, Forest Fm will give the band daily airplay as well as a live session and interview. The band will also be headlining a gig at Verwood’s New Legion on 19 September, of which Forest Fm will be recording for future broadcasting.
Tickets for the gig are only £4 on the door. Students and 14-18 year olds are only £3.00.
