Milestone facelift
Ferndown Councillor, Steve Lugg has inspired a project to refurbish the town's four milestones. These ancient markers have become battered by the elements over the years. With help from the Milestone Society, the three iron and one stone milestone will be removed, refurbished and reinstated. Cllr Lugg said, “They should last another hundred years once they are firmly fixed back in place.”
