Morrisons supermarket set to expand in Verwood

East Dorset District Council has confirmed that it is in negotiations with Morrison's supermarket regarding a major expansion of its Verwood store. These negotiations include plans for a major improvement to the leisure facilities in the town.

The council has been speaking to Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC about proposals to significantly enlarge its store on Chiltern Drive in Verwood.  These discussions continue at a senior level but, as yet, no formal plans have been put to the council.
