New President

Wimborne Branch Committee of the Royal British Legion welcomed Mr John Raymond as their new president. He replaces Squadron Leader Cliff Hardman who retired after years of loyal service.

It was a poignant occasion for John Raymond as the work of his parents since the late 1940s gave the Legion in Wimborne the strong foundation that still benefits members today.  Mr Raymond has recently completed his term of office as High Sheriff of Dorset and will be an asset to the work of the Royal British Legion in Dorset.
