After the trophy presentation Liz Yelling said, “The event has been both exciting and fun. It’s been fantastic to see so many people of all ages taking to the track with a very varied level of determination. But everyone who started in a race made it to the finish and should be proud of their personal achievement.”
Peter Matthews says that it is to early to tell how much the event raised for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, “We would anticipate that we will beat last year’s total of £1500. I’m pleased so many people took the time on a Sunday morning to participate, and the large number of spectators did an excellent job of encouraging their family and friends who took to the track.”
