The charity, which offers free specialist palliative nursing care to local people living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, is delighted that hospice supporters, Alan and Sylvia Lloyd, are opening their garden at 22 Holt Road, Branksome, Poole, BH12 1JT to the public from 11am – 1pm on Monday 16 June.
Entry is by donation to Lewis-Manning Hospice and there will be tea, coffee and cake available.
Sylvia said, “We chose to support Lewis-Manning having visited the hospice on an open day. We are delighted to be able to open our gardens again to help raise funds for this fantastic facility that helps local people.”
The garden is a three quarter acre walled garden for all seasons, with garden seating throughout the diverse planting areas, comprising Mediterranean courtyard garden and wisteria pergola. There is also a walk up slope beside rill and bog garden to a raised bed vegetable garden, returning through shrubbery and rockery back to waterfall cascading into a pebble beach.
