Presentations on the work of international charity WaterAid are proving very popular with schools, groups and clubs.
The talks, which can be anything from ten minutes up to one hour or more, have proved to be such a hit that bookings have been extended into 2011.
The speakers, who are approved and trained by WaterAid, are arranged in Dorset by co-ordinator Hazel Taylor who works for Bournemouth & West Hampshire Water (BWHW).
They include Richard Stanbrook, BWHW’s Corporate & Revenue Services Manager, retired teacher Peter Cadogan, Jon Fisher, who formerly worked for Wessex Water, keen supporter Gareth Jones and Hazel. A sixth person, Greg Pienaar, will be joining the team after undergoing training.
WaterAid, which was founded in 1981, aims to overcome poverty by enabling the world's poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.
