Positive activities for children
Sammy the Spider was seen at a recent Art's and Craft day held at the Heatherlands Centre. The event was sponsored by the Dorset Crimebeat Fund aimed at keeping youngsters busy during the school holidays .
Project leader John Hanrahan said, "It's great to see so many children, young people and parents getting Involved in activities within their local community and it's also a great way to reduce anti-social behaviour."
The two day event was a great success with around forty youngsters and twenty parents attending each day.
