Property marking surgeries for Verwood and Cranborne residents

Members of the East Dorset community are invited to attend two property-marking surgeries on the 12 June 2009 in order to highlight the risk of commercial and non-dwelling break-ins.

The Verwood Safer Neighbourhood Team will be out with the Police Community Support Vehicle (CSV) at two locations to highlight the importance of marking possessions.

'Selecta DNA', a special ultra violet, DNA based marker which uniquely identifies the owner of the property and deters thieves will be available and members of the public will be assisted in marking their possessions.

The locations are: Cranborne High Street, 9am-12noon • Morrisons Car Park, Verwood, 1pm-4pm
