The Regent Centre is the cinema, theatre, concert hall and entertainment centre serving Christchurch, East Dorset and the New Forest. Built in 1931, the Regent Centre has been lovingly restored, in Art Deco style, to reflect its 1930s origins. Indeed, the President of the Cinema Theatre Association has remarked that the Regent Centre is one of the best preserved cinemas in the country to survive from the early 1930s. The long and spacious foyer is in constant use by local exhibiting artists and makes a delightful spot for coffee or tea. The Centre is open from 10am each day.
There is a large public car park at the rear, which is free after 7pm.
