Santa and the MP

Desmond Swayne MP and his wife Mora stopped by to welcome Santa to Ringwood and admire his new home at the weekend,

Santa is in the Furlong for the next two weekends in his magnificent Gingerbread House, made by Ringwood girl Rose Perry.

Desmond and Santa also met Jenny Clarke who runs Woofability an organisation which trains dogs to help the disabled and who's charity the Furlong shopkeepers and Santa are supporting this year.

A trip to Santa is free, children can talk to him in his gingerbread house, post their wish list letters and receive  a gingerbread man freshly baked by Waitrose.  Visitors to Santa are invited to make a small donation to Woofability.

You can see Santa on Fridays 3pm-7pm and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-4pm.  There will be late night shopping in the Furlong every Friday until 7pm and the shops are open Sundays.
