Santa can be found in Ringwood’s Gingerbread House from this Saturday, 5 December at 10am.
One of his first visitors will be New Forest MP Desmond Swayne with his Christmas wish list. He will be confiding in Santa his hopes for a bright new future government.
Desmond and his wife Moira will also be lending their support to the Furlong's Christmas Charity, Woofability, which is a training scheme for dogs for the disabled. The organiser, Jenny Clarke, is disabled and the owner of Honey, a dog she trained herself. She will be there too.
Santa and his elves will then be at the Gingerbread House for the three weekends in December including Friday afternoons and evenings when the shops will also be open.
Entry is free and every child will receive a gingerbread man. It is hoped that visitors will donate to Woofability.
