Screening for future Spielbergs and Scorseses

A film school for 7-16-year-olds has celebrated a successful first year with a red carpet screening of short films made by the students.

Filmsteps in Poole is run by Annie East who has fifteen years experience working on shows such as Holby City, Casualty and Eastenders.

To celebrate the school’s first year, film projects created entirely by the students were shown at Lighthouse in Poole at a red carpet event. The children turned up in a limo where they were met by paparazzi, and then went in to receive awards and view their films for the first time.
