This September is the time to get walking, with perfect conditions for enjoying Dorset’s spectacular countryside.
Dorset Wildlife Trust has set up Walk for Wildlife day on 19 September to help raise funds towards maintaining the county. It’s a chance for people to put on their walking boots and take in some of the best British scenery including part of the breathtaking Jurassic Coast.
There are three different routes, which vary in length, so there is a walk for everyone. People are encouraged to raise as much sponsorship as possible, all of which will go towards the vital work that keeps Dorset so diverse and beautiful.
The three walks cover 5.8 miles, 10 miles or 24 miles. For more information on how to register and get sponsorship forms, contact Dorset Wildlife Trust on 01305 264620.
