Stompin’ on the Quomps

Christchurch’s famous smooth jazz concert, Stompin’ on the Quomps, is just weeks away.

The popular annual event, taking place on Saturday 7 August, attracts crowds from far and wide. This year’s entertainment includes Dutch band Bazar, who will be travelling from the Netherlands specifically for this event.

Other bands performing are Not Just Sax, Lemon Grove, the Baddest Blues Band Ever, and the crowd pleasing Taverners Big Band. Between the acts, entertainment will be provided by members of Swish of the Curtain Theatre Company, and Funky Little Choir.

There is no charge to attend this community event, and food and drink stalls will be available.
