The grieving family of a school girl who died after falling from a multi-storey car park in Weymouth on Sunday afternoon have released a picture of the teenager.
The inquest into the death of the 15-year-old was opened for identification at Blandford on Monday afternoon, and adjourned to a later date for a full inquest.
The girl who died was Robyn Danielle Nixon, aged 15, from Wyke Regis in Weymouth.
Robyn’s family is asking the media to respect the family's privacy at this very difficult time and not attempt to contact them in person or by telephone.
Dorset Police is investigating the circumstances surrounding Robyn's death on behalf of the Coroner. There are no suspicious circumstances.
It was at just before 4.20pm on Sunday, 11 April 2010, that police received a report that a teenage girl had fallen from the top level of a multi-storey car park in Weymouth town centre.
The critically injured teenage girl was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to the Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester where she sadly died.
Police closed both Commercial Road and Lower St Albans Street while the scene was examined. The top floor of the multi-storey car park was also cordoned off.
