Traditional carols in the Cornmarket

For those who enjoy listening to or joining in with Christmas carols, pop down to the Cornmarket in Wimborne on Friday, 19  December at 6pm. 

Organised by Hilda Butler, chairman of the former Churches Together in Wimborne and Councillor  Anthony Oliver, the event will feature Allenbourn Middle School Band.

"Over the years there has been a history of 'Carols in the Cornmarket' and our aim is to see it continue on the Friday evening before Christmas," said Anthony Oliver, the town’s press officer. "Everyone is welcome and we would like to see a large crowd."

A collection will be taken for the Mayor's Charities,Friends of the Tivoli and Wimborne in Bloom with a donation also going to Allenbourn School Band Funds.
