Warwickshire Police are appealing to the public in Bournemouth to contact police immediately, if they have seen 44 year old Colin Parsons, a vulnerable missing person from Warwickshire.
Police are becomingly increasingly concerned for the welfare of Mr Parsons who has been missing from his home in Warwickshire since last Sunday (May 3 2009)
Police enquiries have revealed that Mr Parsons was taken to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital last Monday afternoon after being found in an unfit state in St Peters Churchyard, Hinton Road, Bournemouth. He was discharged from the hospital at 10.27 am on Tuesday but hasn't been seen since.
Mr Parsons has left home for a few days before, but he has always returned on the third day, and he has always taken his medication with him. Last Sunday he left Coleshill in North Warwickshire without his medication which he needs to take every day to ensure he doesn't suffer illness.
Mr Parsons left home wearing a t shirt, a grey long sleeved top and jeans. He is 6' tall, of slight build, with short straight brown hair and blue eyes. He usually wears a thick plain gold wedding ring. He has the letters C O L tattooed on his knuckles.
Inspector Steve Martin from Warwickshire Police, who is co-ordinating the search for Mr Parsons said: "We know that Mr Parsons needs to have regular medication and can quickly become very ill without it. Although he has gone missing before, he has returned very quickly and this prolonged period away from his home is very unusual.
"I am appealing to anyone who sees Mr Parsons - who may still be in Bournemouth, or who may have travelled back to Warwickshire or who may be elsewhere in the country, to please inform the police immediately by dialling 999.
"I would also like to appeal directly to Mr Parsons, - please get in contact with your family or phone the police, everyone is very concerned for your welfare, just let us know you are alright."
