Get ready for another fabulous family event this Bank Holiday. The Verwood Rotary Rustic Fayre takes place at Potterne Park in Verwood. All the usual attractions include a car boot sale (£6 per car and driver), classic cars, jazz, a brass band concert, a pet show and arena events. Back this year quack! quack! is the duck race! Enjoy entertainment throughout the day. With stalls, refreshments and a beer tent, families can take everything at a leisurely pace.
Terrier racing is one of the delightful spectacles and there is nearly always a naughty little dog to steal the crowd’s heart. And this year, in the arena, there will be a display of well-behaved dogs showing off their dancing skills. Admission: £2.50, children under 13 go free.
