Verwood's biggest coffee morning!

The Hub, in Verwood, is the venue for local resident, Jodie Higgs, World's Biggest Coffee Morning event on Friday 24 September in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support's biggest fundraising event. The charity asks people across the UK to hold a coffee morning, where donations on the day are made to Macmillan. Last year 43,000 people registered to hold a coffee morning, raising £7.9 million. This year Macmillan need your help to raise over £8 million to help change the lives of people affected by cancer.

Jodie has put together a full programme of events that run throughout the day in the Hub Bistro and Merryfield Theatre. There will be demonstrations, stalls and raffles. The Hub Bistro staff will be serving snacks and light lunches, as well as tea, coffee and homemade cakes.
