A column of Roman Centurions, the Angel Gabriel, and Joseph and Mary took to the stage at the Ringwood Waldorf School for its festive pageant.
Every child in the school played a part bringing the story of Creation and Christmas to colourful life in the Steiner school’s annual event.
Some 200 children acted, sang and danced before parents and classmates, and the performers ranged in age from six to 16.
“It’s a tradition here in its own right and every child has an important part to play in sharing the message and spirit of Christmas,” said Christine Polyblank, press spokeswoman at the Ringwood Waldorf School.
